American frontier and spirit are already the same, same type low class idiotic pax with rude gate agents.If you’re an off line guy trying to non rev or js gate agents won’t do anything to assist you , worse than delta .

I guess we could take all the back to the SW of old if we’re talking a bare bones/basic travel experience and carrying “the bus people” as it was termed.
It can be a regional type/business modelissueSure, if it’s a bougie area, keep it pure and carrying a premium price point/ROI.
Or, cut it, create more volume, but a slightly lower pricing point, but again, more volume to repeat customers as well.

I jumpseated in the cabin on AA a few months ago from Barbados to Charlotte, then connected on another AA flight home. The gate agents and pilots on both flights went out of their way repeatedly to help me - some of the best service I’ve ever received from any airline. So you may be right with some of their employees, but I sure didn’t experience that.
