Most here probably don't recognize the lyrics... Just as Apple's Tim Cook (or Tim Apple if you prefer) is in no way a right-wing MAGA sycophant, he's the CEO of a company responsible to shareholders for making profits. I think it's disgusting when any company offers effusive praise to get what it wants, especially how blatantly it's being done under this administration to prevent the "mean tweet" or "mean truthing" or an adverse regulatory ruling. Luckily I'm not in one of those positions and have to look myself in the mirror every morning before doing that. |

As Fetterman has stated, the way to enact your party’s program is to get people to vote for you, not to hold those voters hostage.
https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/30/polit...-shutdown-snap Shutdowns didn’t work well for the Repubs when they were in the minority and they won’t work well for the Dems now. That’s MY last comment on the matter. |

Any Pharma person will tell you the money is in the treatment not the cure. Seems obvious to me, but reading some comments here perhaps it is not that intuitive….
But I agree, I would welcome that. There has to be more incentive (in our country at least) than “it’s just the right thing to do.” |

There have surprisingly been some pretty impressive curative pharma in the last few years. Harvoni comes to mind.
