To get a VEC line next month as a IAH 737 CA, you only need to be around 19% or 3,100ish system wide. Reserve isn’t all that senior now.🤪

this is a bad faith post. VEC is very specific and only a few are offered. Your emoji doesn’t make the post better.

Within a year except for December…reserve coverage is usually doubled

I recommend getting Aircrew Edge. Once you create an account, you can see where you land in different BES (or category for those that prefer that term instead ).

It'll break down by percentage it takes to hold a line, the different types of reserve, commutable trips (you set this parameter), the type of layover, weekend off, etc…

It’s a great tool for about $5/month. Free for Half Wingers. Hope this helped!

This... It is not uncommon for the bottom guys and gals in several bases to be unable to hold reserve, especially in the slower months.
