Global reserve on the 756 or lineholder on the737/320. Easy decision. The 756 is a paycut in aggregate. Unless you live in base and need your ego stroked there’s no reason to suffer that life.

Agree 100 percent

Junior EWR756CA is a June 2022 hire. That's 4 years on property by the time they hit training. Pretty incredible, even if that flying won't be anything approaching good for quite a while. Still opportunities to pick good trips up at the last minute on days off, perhaps.

Widebody CA down to 53xx, although in actuality that's probably around 5000 on the active list given retirements since last August.

I'm curious what is going to happen to widebody CA once the 756 fleet is gone. Since the 767s are being replaced by 787s it stands to reason that the widebody CA number will fall below its current location as the mid-pay 756 fleet is replaced in part by widebodies. Could it fall to 7000 or more? Obviously we won't know until those fleets are gone which is years off, but it's something I've been curious about.

Beyond that, plenty of widebody FO slots awarded to folks <3 years on property.

Incredible to see EWR 777 FO go to a 160xx number! I believe that’s Q4 2023 hire?

Amazing how junior these positions went. And this is probably the first of many WB heavy bids.

I’m roughly 1,000 numbers away from widebody captain in any base, I was hired in 2007. I’m not including 756, as that’s what I am now.

For all hired prior to 2019 maybe. Those of us hired 2025+ will not have remotely close to those career expectations. Not even in the same galaxy.
