Notice they just attack me rather than dispel what I’m saying. Just food for thought for any new hires getting excited at seeing captain upgrades of 3 years and people thinking they’re gonna be 15+ year WB captains. Unless you were hired before ~2021, it won’t be you.

Using the seniority calculator in CCS, anyone can figure out when they’ll be above 5000 and hold WB CA and figure out this is categorically untrue unless you’re over about 35 years old and hired in 2025.

Based on the numbers I’m seeing, a 30 year old hired today should finish around seniority number 750-800. Someone who’s 35 today should retire around 2700-2800. Still an absolutely fantastic career any way you slice it.

Anyone in their early 30’s hired in the last year, go to the seniority calculator in CCS, and run the “pilots younger and senior to you” list and tell us how many that is.
