Default TT+. Set alerts for DO NOT DISTURB??

Crew Companion had separate numbers where open trip and PP trip alerts would come from. Helpful when you set one of them up as favorites and on an I-Phone, you could have DO NOT DISTURB set, so only favorites like your PP trip alerts could go off middle of the night.
This new Trip Trade garbage is sending alerts like the ole version of crew companion where it comes from a 656-37 number. And all the alerts come from this number including bids are open, etc.
They are so bogged down by 4000 submissions that they aren’t replying to my question.
Anyone find a solution.

It sucks but what incentive is there to change it. The tried to fix something that wasn’t broke, cause they don’t want to pay someone else for what they can do for free in house.

But open trips are being staffed…….so I dont think the company will really see it as a problem. Pilots are the only ones inconvenienced.

You can set up the DND through the CCS+ app by making one of your notification preferences not be subject to a quiet time. Meaning, set up your primary to honor quiet time and your secondary to be always. Make your OTAs for PPU go to your secondary notification. Then in focus, allow all alerts from CCS+. This method works for push notifications only.

Anybody have a good solution for Google Calendar integration that doesn't involve downloading a file, finding a desktop browser, and uploading the .ICS file every time a trade/ pickup/drop goes through?

My spouse works, we have kids, nanny, gCal is the only thing keeping us from chaos. Crew Companion had essentially one button press to sync your month.

What I had done was put all alerts, open time, pairing changes, bids open, etc. and set them to a quiet time from 10 PM to 9 AM. The only thing that wasn't set to quiet time was PP.

The issue remaining is during the DAY. Previously, I had a separate text alarm for PP which was distinguishable from any other texts. (This worked since crew companion had separate numbers where alerts were coming from, so easy to setup) The only way i can see doing the same now, until this stupid company and app can get their collective heads out os the arses, is by either sending all alerts to my email, except PP trips, which will go to my text. (Risk missing something, like crew notifications for trip cancellation, gate change, etc).
OR I can just put all alerts except PP, on basically an all-day quiet time, but risk the same issue of missing them.

Unbelievable the company/app guys can't comprehend the importance of this.

Lastly, what the difference with your last statement (This works for PUSH notifications only)??
When you select from contact methods, there are options which you can set up (phone, email) and another option push. What happens when you select push and you already have phone and email selected? Or if you only have push selected?

The notifications are just as they are written… push is just whatever you have set for your alert style for that app in ioS (banners, etc.).

But yes, if you want a distinct notification for PP, the only option at the moment is to differentiate them by the method of notification (push, e-mail or text).

I said that the method I suggested only works for push because in Focus, you can set the app’s notifications to still come through. You could do the same for e-mails or texts, but you have to know what address they are coming from to allow them to individually come through and not some e-mail from HR or some text from a friend sending a meme. That was based on only wanting to get PPU alerts at night.

There are 3rd party solutions if you don’t use Apple products to convert the feed to other formats.

I've looked at quite a few but none seem to be adept at subscribing to a calendar that requires authentication. Do you have firsthand knowledge of any?

Additionally, our lovely new app doesn't support normal auth login such as "https://user: [email protected]" so finding a service that works is needle in haystack territory.

I have also tried syncing to iOS (only platform that supports full sync from CCS+) but Apple has decided that devices with subscription calendars don't sync to iCloud. So any vanilla "conversation" websites can't see the CCS calendar because it never gets synced off the iPad and onto iCloud.

I can’t see them on all of my personal apple devices, but if you’re a Google user that doesn’t help.

As far as syncing with Google Calendar, search for yahoo pipes alternative. I don’t know anything about the options in particular, but generally they all work by re-publishing the feed so that other calendars can use them.
