We should all be glad this is being shared. I’m not sure why you’re so eager to dismiss what was said in court. Who cares if you or I don’t like the messenger. The only thing that matters is if it’s true or not. It was said under oath, which gives it more credibility than online forum bluster from internet know-it-alls.

Not going to say what happened but I had a situation that might have been similar, IROs would not back me up so I demanded that captain call the FODM and get approval. captain made that phone call, but there was something about the rhythm of his speech that made me suspicious. When he hung up I put my hand out and said "Let me see your phone." The situation got REAL ugly, he backed down, it was a long flight. When we got in I called the FODM, explained the situation, he told me all calls were recorded and logged and he'd check. He called back about an hour later, told me to file a FSAP ASAP, and there had been no phone call. CP called me a few days later to say the captain was a known problem child and to thank me for doing the right thing.
The best part of retirement is no longer dealing with clowns like that.

That could also just be inflight management [which often attracts the junior (mix of both male and female) in order to get off reserve] just trying to get close to the famous. Its not usually the three G's who get selected to for the charters. Just saaaayin
