I miss the flying, but I don't think I could swing it on that pay. (second year FO, or even second year captain!)

99.9% NO. Still itching though. I have been contemplating calling Spirit, and seeing if I could get back there. Pay is a little better first year there, and I am being told I would most likely get based out of ACY. I live in New Jersey now, and have a house in MI (if I were to get DTW)...
Pay and bennies are good where I'm at now, but "not a flying job", which I knew, but I REALLY MISS THE FLYING!!!
So, short answer is I am not sure. But I will have to decide SOON!

99.9% NO. Still itching though. I have been contemplating calling Spirit, and seeing if I could get back there. Pay is a little better first year there, and I am being told I would most likely get based out of ACY. I live in New Jersey now, and have a house in MI (if I were to get DTW)...

Its tough, especially since we do not have a JCBA yet...hopefully coming soon so we can at least have an idea if any jobs will be created because of it..ie: work rule changes, scope, ect.

It's too bad for you guys. I have a couple of frinds here at Cactus West that are furloughed UAL. They are hanging here until the recall comes and then they are gone. They would have stayed here at AWA but not now. They are the lucky ones.

my ideal way to go-- is knowing what will come to fruitiion with ual IE a est recall date--- then target a crj operator-- get sic typed-- then target shuttle , get 170 sic typed-- then get recalled..
those two sic types are pretty good to have and translate to the corporate world , as well as overseas if it ever come to getting furloughed again
