Just curious. Are you UAL or CAL?
If you are UAL, I don't know if this still works as I'm well removed, but CRNTCX/ALL Unimatic command would show the days CNX flights and reason for them (I believe it's now FK for flight crew CNX).
FK....I find that ironic...

Could it be that simple?
Hard to believe VJM makes that big a difference, but this is a remarkable coincidence if not.
The last time UAL was #1 for cancellations was 28 June,
40 United
36 Pinnacle
32 American Eagle
28 American Airlines
14 Logan Air Limited
13 Southwest
9 Mesa
Then VJM starts,
Now, 10 July, on top again,
42 United
30 Air Wisconsin
25 SkyWest
24 Pinnacle
24 Southwest
15 American Eagle
Wow.
