Default Well that's just great

"If an iPad is lost, promptly notify the Pilot Service Center so the iPad can be quarantined. The Chief Pilot office will provide a replacement and the Pilot Service Center will set-up a payroll deduction to cover the depreciated value of the lost iPad."

Would you expect anything less? I figure we'll get these stupid things when hell freezes over anyway. We were supposed to get iridium phones over six years ago and are still waiting for them too. What a joke.

Why would you ever lose an iPad and pay it for when, according to the same bulletin, it can be "stolen" and it will be replaced at the company's expense?

Just speaking hypothetically.....

Just as no one "dies" on the aircraft......In the future, all iPad that turn up missing will always be "stolen".

"Pierre, I have not a clue.....someone must have stole it".

"It was stolen? No problem, I'll start processing the paperwork for your company-paid replacement. I just need to see a copy of the police report you filed."
