I have too, and I agree with your assessment of their position. Somehow I think the company will try other strategies to get it done. Don't ask me "what strategies" as I wouldn't have a clue. But I'm pretty sure they're not sitting on their hands saying "Oh, well, that didn't work. Now, who wants pizza?!"

Yes...the words that you used.

I would say a very healthy trait to have when at the table with "J-LO" & Fred.

Again, "If".....and yes, I would agree at that point in time.

That is pretty amazing. Especially considering that we're not even negotiating that section yet.

I am sure that all your little XJT friends are spreading all kinds of "hype". I am sure that you are the first to be notified of negotiations at MAINLINE UNITED.

Technically, we are negotiating that section since both sides have submitted their respective proposals to the other. Those discussions have essentially been tabled, so-to-speak, until a further date.

As to this binding arbitration thing, at the MEC chairmen meeting both indicated that it is not something the MECs are interested in. Just more management ploys to make us look like ALPA is the side holding up getting the contract completed.
