Holding out for his UAL recall no doubt, because his "career expectations" will be so fabulous there. Maybe when he gets there Dumbfounded will invite him into his "left hand / right hand circle", whatever the hell that is...

I will be there, not sure what 13n's comments mean however. Jeff's comments referred to CO if they didn't merge.

7:00 and you start with the insults - Good Morning! All I was trying to do was have the CAL pilots hold their MEC chairman accountable for his EGO email to the WORLD. For what ever reason, you guys let him slide - WHY?
You can blast all you want, but YOU didn't hold Pierce accountable. He is responsible party - send him an email and let him know.

And we've all come to learn how truthful Jeffy is. Spare me.

I don't get your point.

Like it or not. That is something we all can expect in our careers.

WTH:mad:

You sir are correct! That is going to be very difficult when our MEC's are still fighting one another. We have zero leadership on either side.

I'm not trying to throw arrows believe it or not. I wish this would be finished. I'm working on my exit plan as we speak or at least a plan to work less each month.

One side could care less about a JCBA and only cares about the SLI. They will help management drag this on for a long time until they feel the time is right. Is this part of their "prenup" that no one seems to know about? This theory is not just conjucture I do have some evidence to back it up, but that and a buck ninety five will barely get me a cup of coffee.

The line pilots from each airline are for the most part ready to move forward together from what I can see, but we don't hold any of our reps accountable.

Apathy is the norm all while guys continue to blow their brains out among other things. Management and ALPA stand around like the scare crow from "The Wizzard of Oz", pointing in different directions, as they are blaming everyone else.

IMHO we are and have been on a destructive course.

Ok - you're spared! Do you think Jeffy and Pierce are working to undermine the combined pilot groups?

Its all conjecture and quite frankly doesn't matter so once again, lets move on and face our real enemy. The management team you guys were having wet dreams about several years ago.:D

Here's a link for you...

You are right though, it's all conjecture at this point and time to move on. Funny, we say it, but no one ever does. Talk is cheap. Especially when our MEC's are leading with cheap words and actions that divide us.

As far as wet dreams about your management...it must have been your dream, certainly wasn't mine.

As a United pilot, I fail to see why on earth you are choosing to stir this pot now? Put the talk about career expectations et al on ice until we have a JCBA. This devicive talk is not helpful, regardless of what Pierce says or does. Let's face it, Wendy hasn't exactly blown anybody away with her handling of this merger.

There will be a time and place to have this discussion, but this isn't it. We are all on the same team.... Deal with it!

Daytripper 12-06-2011 06:28 AM

And while we're now giving credence to the musings of Smizek.....

This will be a merger of equals.
May 3rd 2010

I'm fairly sure the arbitration board will not be making SLI decisions based on internet forum chat. So why persist with the biggest wrist watch contest?
I feel like asking "who's pickin the banjo here?".....
