Feb 14... will begin with the most advanced pre flight and walk a round ever performed. Unless it is a fresh 737 from Boeing and brand new I'm sure it will need some maintenance to make sure it FLYS SAFE!

Jeez Guys! why don't you just go to Jeff and tell him to his FACE you want to GROUND the 737-524's and put those pilots out on the Street so that they can be in the "Brotherhood of Furghoughed UAL Pilots"???

I thought my job was to do a thorough and safe preflight of any aircraft I step in. That's what my primary flight instructor taught me all those years ago. Not sure why it would be different one day to the next.

Not every bulb can be the brightest, but at least they can aspire to be.

Shrek, talk to your reps about what's barreling down the road at UAL pilots (CAL pilots were run over long ago). Payscales and a $3000 retro check will be the least of your concerns. Here's Wendy's latest blastmail

She's been desperately trying to communicate what is being observed from her vantage point but I'm not sure folks are hearing it. Her video says a lot. Listen especially for the part that there are no UAL management reps at the negotiating table, just CAL. There is a reason for this. A CAL contract will save them hundreds of millions of dollars per year over the UAL contract, despite pay scales.

Well, I can assure you if I'm not rewarded on Feb 14 I'm not going outta my way to assist making any profit that day. And yes, I always do a good pre flight but on Feb 14 it will just be a little more Type " A"nul. I guess you were one of the 58% ers in 2004 or an 83/85 hire.

It is going to take till then to make you po'd enough to tighten the screws? Why torture yourself and your family during the holidays with that kind of resentment.
