IT'S certainly Not the airplane !! Because having worked them BOTH? There are JUST as many things wrong with the 737 as the Airbus, and if the 737 was so damn perfect? Then WHY are the systems on the 737 looking MORE like the A320,767-400 and the 777 than the other way around? Especially the Electronic flight control system?? Don't let your bigotry run you up a flagpole. Since it's Obvious you have NO idea qhat you're talking about... Airbus beat Boeing out of the Steam Guage cockpit and the 737 has JUST NOW surpassed the a320 in capability with the "Max". And Airbus is Cheaper. So you tell ME what's superioir?!?

I don't think the Hudson River accident would have turned out any different if a 737 had run into that flock. Not sure you can blame Airbus for that. I've got over 5000 in both the 737 and the A320. Just observations. The A320 is a cheap, plastic, French, obnoxious turd. But in the cockpit, it's a comfy turd. The 737 is a great, fun, solid, bird. But MAN is that cockpit small, tight, and uncomfortable. I never have flown the NG, but I'm assuming the Jumpseat is the same? That's just torture for all 3 pilots.. Especially for a 6 hour leg.

Really though, I'll fly anything. Just show me the money, give me a good schedule, and use it to replace the RJ.

That sums it up. And, no, the NG is no more comfortable, but at least they put headrests on the seats (as required in cars since the '70s).

Now the big question--does the bus have an actual thermostat (available in homes since the 1800s) for the cabin, and can it be controlled from aft of the door? THAT would be a Dreamliner.

You would think that after 50 years in production the 737 could have a toliet seat that stays up too! The 737 line should have shut down 20 years ago.

Amen to that! Could cut out about 75% of the time I talk with FAs if they could control and fight over their own cabin temperature.

Been on some of the older -800s and even some of the -500s recently where the toilet seat was obviously repaired or replaced with the newer "stay up" version? It's a nice change when you see it and not having to use your hands to hold it up, esp. in turbulent flight.
