I'm glad he won. I hope this whole episode was worth fighting over carry on bags. Next time this kind of bag disagreement occurs and anyone feels this is where you want to plant your flag, just stand on the Jet Bridge with your hands in your pockets and just say you are not getting on the plane until the bags do. Don't get in their face and certainly don't touch them.

an acquittal or a non prosecution by the DA is not an admission the good capt is innocent. which means the CSR is still open to accuse further ,OR? UAL could use this evidencce again shoud the Capt ever "really" become upset or agitated and claim this has ben his mind set in past history. Is there anyone or any method available to clear the CAPT's good name?? and? to insure HIS integrity?? because without security cameras at every corner, we as Men(as we are the majority in our field) could be accused of nearly anything by anybody!
(sexual harassment, bigotry, homophobia etc) and there is a presumption of guilt rather than innocence that seems to prevail. all calls to TOMC will soon be recorded because we can't even disagree without someone flinging scurrilous accusations of "this or that" around where every question about an airplane is now perceived as a "set-up" for skulduggery. How is it we can Die together in battle but we can no longer even discuss and come to an agreement, or agree to disagree as gentlemen?? I'm coming up on 30yrs and i just turned 60. And I MISS the time I could say Mornin' Capt. how might I help you"? And have a "Civil" conversation about our mutual passion. Airplanes and flying. I still believe in what I'm doing and I Love what I do but it would be really nice to turn back the page and just CHILL out a little. And worse than This? I don't see it getting much better in the near future. for ANY of us. Isn't that a shame?? Happy Holidays!!

This profession will never get stronger until we begins to lift those weights that are much heavier.
S51, with your ~30 years, I trust that you're not past the time to understand that because if you are, you might leave this industry realizing your prediction...
