I am expecting the bid to come out with no vacancies and 1 maybe 2 projected retirements. Hopefully everyone will then remember to go into the cpo and remind them they need a new story to sell.

That's a good way to put it. Their projected retirement numbers are almost always thrown out the window by a couple months after the bid.

Ground school last week. CP says SFO, ORD, DEN, and 250 vacancies. Still solid rumor (oxymoron?).

Curious to see how many displacements this will generate.

From what I heard, noboby should be involuntarily displaced by the bid. Any new base assignments are voluntary or TDY.

I wonder if "voluntary" is code for agreeing to negate the new domicile provisions in the current contract.
