You seem to be confused. They are not OUR 70 seaters. I wish they were because our pilots would be flying them.

CAL scope is:
50 seats < Jets 79 seats < Turboprops What is UAL's? |
Well Otto, it sucks. Your scope is the envy of the piloting profession, alright? With any luck, OUR airline will have 100 seat jets for you and I to fly. No, I will not "pull your gear".

Not sure what "Pay Band" we'll put the little bugger in though.

For now what you can expect is that on February 14, 2012, Jeffrey will hold a photo op with some scab or management pilot in uniform holding bags of money, with Jeffrey’s arm around him telling the world: “See what a wonderful company we are to work for! I am a great CEO that loves his employees! I am the benevolent dictator!” Smile, smile, flash, flash….”now get back to work before I fire you all!”

The perception is that there is the attitude from many on your side who think you are holding and are entitled to all the cards in this merger and that you would like us to sit back and have a hot cup of Shut The Hell Up. After the last 10 years I don't think that is likely to happen.

IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY! |
Dexim:
I'm a UAL pilot but and I want you to know you are losing all of us with your continued harping about the PS and JP. What's done is done and I, like many others, have spent my PS so let's just rejoice that the LCAL guys and gals got theirs. Now as far as those who keep poking at scope. As far as I know the two Jays are well aware of the issues and I expect that any contract handed to us for ratification will include an acceptable scope clause. If it isn't vote no. Finally: I don't see either side having any advantage over the other. The only difficulty is the seniority. LCAL has relatively many more "less senior" pilots flying Capt and WB FOs and it is the way it is. There will be pain in the integration no two ways about it or around it. What I am really glad bout is the uniform will be blue. Why? It doesn't show cat and dog hairs as easily as black. |
