The LOA essentially codified the terms of the first-offer JCBA, and it was actually a little less generous than what the company offered the first time.

The NWA MEC realized they would be missing the opportunity to enhance their membership's contract if they didn't decide to work with the DAL MEC, hence they finally agreed to move forward.

The PMDL pilots received more total shares in the process but it was because there were more pilots to divide it between. The end result was that ALL pilots PMDL and PMNW received equity in the exact same methodology and proportion.... The end result amount was a share allotment just slightly less than the guy ahead of you on the list and slightly more than the guy behind you on the list.

But the DAL guys did not get more per person than NWA, it was equal between the two groups.
