Sympathy was neither desired nor expected. I'm not sure why you have interjected emotion into this discussion. The letter was not a rant but rather a rebuttal and I think it stands on its own merits. Why are you motivated to discredit it?

The email update from the MEC Chairmen is unrelated so I'm not sure how they can be the antithesis to each other. Please explain.

No discredit intended. I'm truly sorry that you saw it that way. But did you send that to Smisek? Personally, I wouldn't because he and the rest of them could not care less, so if you posted it here but didn't send it to him, then it's a rant, and rants are emotional.

If you did send it to Smisek, did you get a response?

Look, they really couldn't give a crap what any of us think, feel, or write. Smisek has no emotional attachment to us, the Jays, or probably anyone else, which is a characteristic of sociopaths so what good would it do to write an email to him?

Besides, this forum is mostly one big rant!
