Default 12 Nov 12.. day ALPA Died?

So, anyone else think that ALPA is done at UCAL?

How does a National Union allow the largest Carrier in its organization to put out a TA that is substandard to Delta?

What ever happened to pattern bargaining?

What ever happened to fixing the wrongs of the previous contracts?

What ever happened to demanding 100% Full Retro?

Last night, I lost what little respect and faith I had for ALPA National, and for my own local Union.
Kudos to the 7 Reps (4 CAL, 3 UAL) who Voted NO.

They are the catalysis for our own, Independent Union.. in the Future.

I hope so. Ask the TWA folks. That knife is deep on their backs.

Agree this organization should be done, the only trouble is how weak the group is also.

This was the last straw for me. ALPA should be voted off after the SLI. Worse will be if we get enough weak and spineless pilots to vote this garbage in. Unfreakin believable!

Your not going to see real weakness until this pilot group votes and this turd is voted in.

Motch, no one ever has accused you of being very smart. You continue to prove this true today. Keep going, you really make me laugh.

What makes you think an independant will be any better?

Two things: Been there, done that. ALPA works better with an adverserial management.

In regards to an independant: Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. You will have the same people volunteering/running for office as with ALPA.

Good Luck!

Bingo.

Pilots can't just pay attention after a TA is published. The key step, if fact, is not electing schmucks in the first place. Once you elect fools how can one be surprised when they do something foolish?

It is nice to see that ALPA is looking out for the RJ pilots in this TA
