The way I read LOA 26 is:
1) Longevity pay for furlough time (i.e.. 4.7 yrs at new TA rates instead of old UAL pay rate) doesn't kick in until 2nd bid period, or Feb 2013.
2) Then the 3 hr per day versus min guarantee kicks in March 2013.
Just keeping it real for those in the pipeline.
Is this correct?

The new pay rates started Dec 1st... At 5 year pay for furloughees.

LOA 26 3-B-3 is referring to future furlough longevity, see ALPA Comm - LUAL ALPA Q&A #6 , question 6. LOA 25 is pretty clear that pay credit for furlough longevity back to a minimum of 5/7/08 occurs immediately upon date of signing (yesterday). Reference LOA 25 paragraph 4 and ALPA Comm LUAL ALPA Q & A #5 , question #4.
