Here's the latest:
No real off the street hiring until 4Q, except for a very small sliver of applicants between now and SLI. SLI and the subsequent recall might push it back a little further. Currently 8000+ applicants on file and receiving 20+ a day. Good luck KC |

Stupid question, but any idea on the amount in the "sliver"? 100-150? That would be my guess.. |
8000 on file...they'll burn through those numbers pretty fast.

In the next 20 years UAL will need somewhere around 10000 pilots. (assuming one for one replacement of retiring pilots)
