I now check it frequently, yet no matter how hard I press my fingers to my temple and/or try some other Jedi mind trick, no email from United has been forthcoming.

Well it exceeds the TK mantra and the source is very reliable and was part of a meeting that wasn't just talk. However, any training building is a big rumour hole for sure. IAH is the same way. The 787 issue and 756 staffing is impacting these plans for sure. Hopefully we can correct and go to full capacity of 60 a month. Also, L- UAL will start getting their 739 soon and training for that could hamper this too. 737 maybe first mixed metal flying we do.

Just from a link of mine that heard straight from CV this past week, that the pool they have now is good until post SLI and then they would return to picking up the street hire pace. Obviously I wasn't there and things can change and the blink of an eye, but none the less this is what is told to a rank and file UA line pilot.

Kinda makes sense with the 300 emails going out for 5-6 months of possible off the street staffing. Here's to hoping for the fall

Or, there's going to have to be another round of emails sent out soon.

My math may be off, but 300 emails, for 60 a month means they'll hire everyone that gets an interview, right. Even if they only hire 45 a month, that's still greater than a 75% acceptance rate. Is it that good? I'm assuming then that an email from United means you've got the job.

Right there with you hoping for the 2nd round of emails. I also believe that if you treat the interview with 100% respect and show up prepared and humble it is your slot to lose. Like everything in life though execption to the rule applies
