UAL offer street hires classes?

Think it's possible that by posting your stats (TT, type ratings, etc), that you could possibly be removing some of your anonymity on this board to those involved in the hiring process? Just food for thought.
If I were an HR person, I would surely know about the major forums such as these and it would be easy to quietly lurk and search and cross-reference. I would hate for a past post written with 'passion' to be the undoing of anyone.
It's a competitive atmosphere and much different in the digital age. I have no inside information and this is purely my own speculation. I'm sure someone has a first or second hand account of what I suggested.
Be careful and good luck.

interview from ual or cal?
For those that have anything positive- phone call, interview, class date, etc- first of all, congrats! But I'm curious- did you all have apps in with CAL? My stats are on par but app only with UAL and I'm wondering if that is going to cause me to have to wait longer...
Thanks! And good luck to all...

All,
Hiring is now going to go through the summer. Trying to ramp up to 60 a month vice 48. Despite what some of the bitter guys say this is a good place to come to and start a long career. Most of the angst is normal for where we are in the merger cycle and fear of the SLI is starting to frustrate some. The initial street new hires I talk with are happy to be here. Think about this nugget, 75% of the United pilots on property now will be retired by 2028. I am sure others like Delta and AA will be similar too. Good time to get through the door.

BTW, I don't think it's an issue to post hours/quals. Now if people start discussing interview specifics that would be an issue.

The hiring is going to be even more if United orders a bunch of EMB-195s or some other type of 100 seat jet since the scope clause restrictions are going to start to kick in soon.
Movement is going to be crazy for everyone because retirements are happening every day.

LAX Pilot and flybynuts, thanks for the reassuring post. I remain positive as I wait for an email or a phone call. I'm an active duty Navy guy - P3 driver - available 10 Jun. Nothing heard yet, but remain positive. Thanks again.
