b. He will faithfully obey all lawful directives given by his supervisors, but will resist and, if necessary, refuse to obey any directives that, in his considered judgment, are not lawful or will adversely affect flight safety. He will remember that in the final analysis the responsibility for safe completion of the flight rests upon his shoulders.
c. He will not knowingly falsify any log or record, nor will he condone such action by other crew members.
d. He will remember that a full month’s salary demands a full and fair month’s work. On his days off, he will not engage in any occupation or activity that will diminish his efficiency or bring discredit to his profession.
e. He will realize that he represents the airline to all who meet him and will at all times keep his personal appearance and conduct above reproach.
f. He will give his airline, its officers, directors, and supervisors the full loyalty that is their due, and will refrain from speaking ill of them. If he feels it necessary to reveal and correct conditions that are not conducive to safe operations and harmonious relations, he will direct his criticism to the proper authorities within ALPA.
g. He will hold his airline’s business secrets in confidence, and will take care that they are not improperly revealed.

Yes I have! A 10 minute stroll through the terminal and I can get adequate nutrition for all but the really long flights.

FURTHER, if you will go back to the beginning, this all started over, and my answer directly dealt with a caterer who misread the catering order, NOT willful non-compliance by the company. My point simply is that there is a difference, one that many on this board are either too stubborn, or too dense to fathom.

You must be a joy to be around - give away contract because you can't say no to a mechanic or gate agent - talk about growing a pair. Even as bad as the contract is you don't have a right to give it away and anybody flying with you should force you to follow the contract. So be it or get off my airplane - scrub.

The caterer, company, or the farmer who produced the grain for my cereal, it does not matter who makes the mistake. If the meal is not boarded for the appropriate flight, then the solution is simple like OldMako says. Call ops and ask for the caterers to bring appropriate meal. When they refuse, you simply walk off the plane and secure your own food. It might take 10 minutes to secure food, it might take 30. I am not as you say "promulgating the notion that we are arrogant, egotistical, self-centered p....s----" but rather taking care of my crew assuring that their proper nutrition is met so the flight can operate safely. Safety of the flight is more important than what you term "miss connects, cruises, weddings, funerals, one last visit with a dying family member, whatever."

Or just wait till your destination and expense a nice surf and turf at the hotel .
