The end of 2009 would more accurately show the health of each company, independently, before merger announcement. BTW, I don't know what it would show, but whatever it shows it would be pre-merger therefore more constructive for the health-of-company-equates-to-career-expectations issue.

Latest 14 of 14...whose been running this ship for 3 years? You sound like a president I know blaming his predecessor years later for his poor performance.

Wrong again.

Please read the memos from the TPA

It's your ship. Remember? "UAL bought CAL." UAL pilots were so glad to be rid if Tilton as was Wall Street. Yet nothing's changed except the size of the mess. The SLI is going to be meaningless if no one has a job in five years.

2009 Airline Quality Ranking, UAL #13.

Doesn't matter. Anything after the merger date is moot. Just because CAL management took over and favored one group over the other because of their lower overall costs doesn't mean that they were doing better. Plus they already showed that the longevity date was how much people had as of 2010, so if you were hired in 2007 you had 3 years. If hired in 1998 you had 12.

APC225 you are a smart, respected member of this forum. If we lose our jobs it would have been better defending what we know is right than bow to the likes of pierce, abbot and jeff. You guys are use to it - the UAL pilots have to much honor to live in fear on our knees.

Really? Because the scabs on your knees haven't healed yet from your eagerness to vote in this contract. Many UAL pilots have admitted that they voted out of fear, unfounded as it may have been. We have all seen what you call honor.

Nobody voted out of fear.

They voted "yes" due to the obvious FACT that JPOS was delaying everything to screw over the UAL side.

That had to stop.

No fear, just common sense.

Call it what you want, it was FEAR. As someone just posted I'm getting tired about hearing about the big bad UAL pilots when the reality is they haven't stood up for anything in years.
