I was hired at CAL in 1999 it was my top choice (that or NWA) and its been a great career. Done better at CAL then I would have anywhere but FDX or Southwest career wise. Lots of great people to work with. The UAL furloughs I fly with are my same hire date, which makes me glad I was not hired on the UAL side. They have overall been a fantastic group of guys to work with. Its too bad this forum shows the 2% of crazy a""holes and not the 98% of reasonable guys on both the UAL and CAL side. Time for a lot of you to hop off the crazy train........

My thoughts exactly...

At the time what made CAL and NWA your top choices? Where else did you apply and did you get any other offers?

Shaftmaster James is the man. They certainly wouldn't diminish the effort to break in his new crib.
