Actually, James probably took that picture at the Duck Inn in the 90's; the night before his UA interview.

Thus the GodFather of move-n-groove keeps his stable tight.

Carry on James......Carry on.

Wow, not too tough to read between the lines here. I assume you are a UAL guy and were hired in the 90's. What makes you think every single pilot out there (or even a majority) had UAL at the top of their list?

There's a certain arrogance I sense when reading this thread that just makes me shake my head.

I kind of like it. I chock it up to Pride in Ownership. If you sit in on conversations in ATL you would think that everybody has long aspired to be a DAL pilot. Everybody dreams of wearing a silly hat and a double breasted coat. The reality is legacy guys are usually proud of their airline.

Don't worry, every UAL guy hired in the 90s is just trying to justify how their dream job went down in flames and turned into a nightmare over the past 13 years.

I remember when the United internship was a huge deal in college. I am glad I never did it, I might be junior to myself now!!!

Because something doesn't turn out to meet your expectations doesn't mean it went down in flames. I guess when someone hasn't experienced loss, it is difficult for them to present a objective comparison.

I have had some great times at United and enjoyed the people I have worked with. Due to past circumstances, I have learned much about myself and the professionalism of others.

A nightmare? Hardly. The career isn't over until you set the brake for the last time.
