For those of you who haven't figured it out yet, first CAL ALPA put on their best case and now UAL is doing the same. To postulate on this forum and get all upset at each other is probably the biggest waste of energy I've ever seen.

And now, back to the show !!!
For what it's worth, many UAL furloughees are behind CAL Pilots that were also furloughed and hired well after us. Also, some of the UAL furloughees you speak of have years more longevity that some if the junior CAL pilots their ahead of.

Apparently your furloughees that were hired 6 months after me and placed ahead of me on both proposals have status and category...but I don't. Horsecrap!

Like the UAL pilots refrained from demonizing the CAL pilots when our proposal was put out?

I will lose 4958 numbers from my current CAL seniority on this list. How happy should I be? Should I be jumping for joy? I guess I'm missing something....................... One thing I've noticed is the massive clumps of UAL pilots with no CAL guys inserted. Why is that?

Correction, sport.

The UAL pilots demonized the CAL proposal. They even mentioned the specific problems they had with the methodology.

The whole big fuss about longevity, and then the UAL side pretty much throws it out when it disadvantages them.

Pretty ballsy to lay claim to ALL the 350's, and most of our 787's.

Ignoring the career expectations of pilots who've been flying Captain for years.

Putting furloughed pilots ahead of active pilots.

The list is really too long and I'm sure lots of guys chiming in.

But, I'm not going to pretend to be outraged like most of the UAL guys pretended to be. I'm sure rational heads will prevail and we'll see something more sensible.

You do understand that the PNCL/MESABA/COLGAN merger slotted furloughed pilots with active pilots?

Also it looks like the UAL Furloughed bubba's are the FIRST to get furloughed for the next 5 years after SLI....

Seems like everyone is pi$$ed at this list in some way....which makes me believe this is what the final draft will look like.

JMHO...

It's the counter point to the portions of the list with massive clumps of CAL pilots. Besides, CAL had no problem with a massive clump of UAL pilots at the bottom of its proposal.

How are you losing 4,958 numbers? We are MERGING two lists so your "new" number will be larger....no? What am I missing here?

Gee....that's about the only thing both proposals have in common.
