I was just looking through my airlineapps and I saw where I enter my atp it also asks for when the atp written was completed. I have this blank since I already have my atp does anyone know if this is correct or if they want the date regardless?

That is correct. Leave it blank. It automatically knows you have the written done.

I just interviewed and I feel confident about every portion except the sim. Even the CRM exercise was good. The sim was fine until the missed approach. I forgot to call for flaps right away, had to be reminded, then while distracted ended up descending for just a second. On a missed approach, that is pretty bad! I caught it, corrected it and caught up on my call outs and got everything back under control without snowballing. Anyone else have some sim blunders and still make it through? I'm trying to figure out if I screwed the pooch on this one. Thanks for the help!

I made an embarrassing big mistake during the sim. The CRM exercise after that went great. I was happy with my HR interview. I was hired. No sweat man. Have fun during training. We need the pilots...badly. We are hiring another ~550 before the end of the year. I have been here for 6 weeks and love it.

I was disappointed with my sim performance, needed more than one "save" from the captain. Still got the call. Everyone makes mistakes. I just tried to be professional about it, exhibit good CRM and communication skills, and everything worked out fine.

Splash! Add me to the pool! I guess my sim wasn't as bad as I thought. I got the CJO from BK yesterday. He said to expect a 737 or A320 and that the bid would be "very different" than previous classes hinting at possible Houston and LA bases. He also said there would be no more 756 slots for the rest of the year and to expect a mid September class date. Super excited to be here!
