Default Question for the CAL guys

Us L-UAL pilots still can't access CCS. We can log in, but every link just redirects us back to Flying Together and the UAL resources.

With CCS does your number and percentage get updated every month? Every six months? At UAL we get a new number every July that we carry through the year. We also can't see percentage.

Anyone have an idea when we will all show up on the same system?

Anyone know how the next vacancy bid is going to be done since we are not all on the same system yet?

What are these Continental pilots of which you speak?

Nobody knows doodoo around here. We'll be lucky if Lee Moak doesn't find some reason to withold the second tranche. If history serves as any indication, the technical issues surrounding this will stymie our NASA scientists for the better part of a year.

For monthly bidding your BES number is updated...and I believe your system number is as well. Not sure about the other questions...only been here a year or so.

Yes, we are shown our percentage on our PBS screen every month when bidding opens up. No idea when you guys will be able to see the same.

I would guess the next vacancy bid would be in Feb '14, but they can take their time with that.

From this day on there are no more L designations. We are one pilot group and must act as one to challenge the real enemy. Let's make United again the "Friendly Skies" airline.

I would expect the new seniority positions will be loaded into CCS for all pilots flying at LCAL in time for the October bid cycle, which starts next week. Otherwise the October award will not be in seniority order and it would a heck of a grievance issue.

Given the retirement schedule for 757s, the delivery schedule for 737s, the effective cancellation of untrained bids from 14-02A, and the Age 65 retirement schedule, I'd be willing to lay good odds that we see a bid long before February 2014. Seems more likely to me that November or December of this year will be the time frame for the next bid and that dovetails nicely with the planned introduction of Sabre flight planning on the LCAL 777 fleet which is planned for October 15th.

Your percentage is shown in a number of different ways. I am not sure what will survive with the switch to your staffing system.

Once place it shows is in your individual % in base each month for PBS. As far as your percentage overall or to guesstimate it in other bases, our staffing page shows whatever you select at the top so you can see staffing in relation to your base, your airplane or the entire company. Of course the percentage would have to be calculated manually but its easy to do. This is updated monthly.

Any other ccs questions, please dont be afraid to ask, it is a pretty good system once you get the hang of it

It does seem like a good system. It lacks mostly in info how to fill out various different screens. You have to have the right codes to put in each box.

That is the bad news. The good news it remembers what you entered last. That means if you are checking for open time, you don't have to type everything in every time.
