The Arbitrators upheld ISL and 787 Fence
#1
The Arbitrators responded this past weekend. The Board took no action whatsoever nor did they respond to the s-CAL list of errors or the s-UAL 787 fence. The long and short of it is everything is staying in place as awarded.
Expect a Blastmail in the next day or so.

Since there were very few 400 openings I'm guessing you would have been better off with no fences, it's not like you will avoid them forever. But I guess over 500 new positions was worth it.

On the whole, it would have been better if the LAX 400 pilots could bid the 787. Oh well.

That's where my merger assessment money went....wow! Best money I ever spent then. I feel so satisfyingly corrupt now. Should have paid more and those pilots hired the same month I was (no furloughs) wouldn't be 1500+ numbers senior to me. You will keep the proof to yourself though, right? Thanks pal.

On the surface, no. But seeing as the SFO 400 bids will be rare, it wouldn't have mattered much. Plus, I don't think scab pilots are/would be having a whole lot of fun on this fleet.
