Slats...are you at the meetings where all the metrics are covered and the hard numbers are published? (Even with all the issues the plane is doing better than expected.) If so, PM me so we can meet at the next meeting. They, the 787s, are contributing in the now and doing well. Think how much better when the plane is fully operational and it capability will be even better.

A simple observation for this forum. People pass conjecture and opinion as fact all while being wrong or misguided and then either inflate or try and brow beat those that actually know(maybe years of oppression has taken its toll?".

I'm not asking to trust management but please refrain from "opinion and what I heard" asinine comments. These forums are thick with them. Opinion's here are barely half truths.

Agree, same can be said for anyone's posts on here including your conjecture about how greatly the aircraft is contributing to the profit line.

Sorry, too many years of watching management sweep real costs under the table or slide them under another column in order for their objective number to look better.

That is how they justify the regional jet operation. I have no doubt that is how they are justifying their "game changer" of an airplane at this juncture.

Sorry, I don't buy company propaganda lightly. And yes, I have been at meetings where board financial information has been discussed.

At any rate, not trying to get into a urinating contest. Just didn't want to let your statement of fact go unchallenged. :)

Ahh, let me clarify. I WAS at the meeting in ORD when the 787 was briefed and even spoke with the fleet manager yesterday about this. When I post there is no conjecture. I post based on what I get in meetings and I am allowed to share.

Thats great so his position is? He might have mentioned it before but if it is a management position then he could address a few more issues here. That would be great.
