The plan is to retire older 757s and 3 class 767s over the next 2 years. Those retirements will hit the bases where the flying is predominantly domestic. DEN, LAX, SFO, and to some extent DCA.
PS planes are staying, and LIH has to stay a 757-200. Guppies can't handle the short runway, and the 757-300 can't get off the ground. 767's do quite nicely but they took all those planes for international. So, in summary, I don't see SFO 757 flying being drawn down much beyond what we are doing right now. Otherwise, your logic seems to be sound. No BAT in SFO because no 756 base. |
