It may not be ideal, but I, for one, will wear the leather jacket for cold weather ops instead of the "gunny sack" overcoat they have offered. Nothing about this uniform is ideal, but gotta make do with what we have for now.

Don't forget to voice your concerns to the Uniform committee after your first trip.... squeeky wheel gets the grease...
With the latest uniform update on CCS... I hope the CPO has the guts to crack down on the liberal uniform pieces... like that Macy's jacket or the NorthFace look....

I'm not on here to say how much I love the Uniform (my 14yr old said that tie doesn't match and didn't they have anyone that could figure that out?) but, the company pays me to where the uniform THEY pick out!! I think it looks SO unprofessional to have 12,000 pilots all with different variations of the uniform!! Delta pilots ALL where the same uniform and seem to take pride in their appearance even though the " Double Breasted Suit" went out of style 15yrs ago!! I hope with the "new" uniform some guys will take pride in how they look!! Where the hat if you are in a jacket! No matter what you have heard, it's not the reason you are going bald!!

Its not that big of a deal. In the Navy, some people wore flight suits, some khakis, some wore summer whites. We all looked different and professional.
The pax don't know or care. They want to get their safe, on-time, in the best seat they can get, for as little money as possible.
