Those are the numbers.
Using that logic, I guess it's safe to attribute ubited's profit to outsourcing to Aer Lingus and contracting to Skywest.

Fortunately the new CBA closed the unrestricted Q-400 loophole that CAL had so that there is now a limit on Express Flying.

I would much rather have a high paying job flying a smaller airplane on these routes than no job at all.
That is a fair point with an emphasis on the smaller European markets.

That's fantastic news. It relates in now way as to economies of using a particular plane on a particular route. Just as ual turning a profit a few quarters says absolutely nothing about the profitable of particular routes.

AirHoss:

United was awesome! They never had any problems, ever. It was kinda like the magic kingdom. Maybe you should just go up to ORD and just explain this to all the CAL managers. I mean, up in ORD all the United people are gone now, right. Just CAL people running the show.

Attention all United Pilots: Please stay away from the guppy. We at CAL do not want to fly with you guys. Thank you

Seniority wise most of us are beyond it anyway. Look for us on the widebody airplanes.
