737 paired FOs on LOE
Just say no (or "no thank you" if you're into that whole politeness thing). Due to an unforeseen and totally unexpected manpower shortage in the Guppy fleet, the company is scheduling 737 FOs together to fly the LOE.
The MKV isn't a jeopardy event, although the LOE is. Several FOs have simply said no (or no thank you) and been rescheduled to fly with a Capt. as they would on a line flight. Your advocacy is the only way to be evaluated as part of a line proficient crew comprised of a Capt. and FO.
Should you chose to help the company solve this highly unanticipated shortage by flying the LOE as a dual FO crew, you open yourself to a higher chance of failing a check ride. Ask yourself how proficient are you in all phases of flight from the left seat?
Where is the Training Committee on this?

I guess I would emphasize the word "crew."
FM 1.20 PILOT REQUIREMENTS, Minimum, Captain and First Officer.
Since an FO is not qualified to fly on the line in the captain's position then I would consider two FOs paired for a checking event would not be a fully qualified crew.

Did multiple annual checking events as a 2 FO "crew" under the old contract, which included the briefing that since you're typed in the plane you'll be responsible for left seat flows and duties as a fully qualified captain. When I was awarded captain I logically assumed that I would just show up to work the next day in the left seat. The company didn't see the logic.
