ALL vacation that you elected to bid in the annual process prior to the Primary Cycle WILL be awarded in the Tertiary cycle. The system will award you as many vacations as it needs to (in increments of at least 7 days) to award all your remaining vacation days. o Beginning at week 26 (10/24/14) and working backward to week 1 (5/1/14) the system will try to assign as many of the days you have available as possible. The official award isn't until tonight. For those vacation weeks that couldn't be assigned by a bid, they're probably assigning them manually where ever they feel it would have the least impact on the flying schedule. Look again later it might be there.

PBS bidding with vacation
How do you bid in PBS to maximize the effectiveness of your vacation? I want as much work awarded during my vacation as possible to reduce my overall number of duty days during May. I have a 12 day block in the middle if the month. Do I use the Award work command for my vacation dates or Avoid work commands for blocks of days outside my vacation?
