757 Fleet Question

Yes, time to move on. Face it, no matter how the ISL was done, we are lucky to have that and a contract, however lousy. Look to the other work groups to figure out Jeff's plan for us.

Really......I agree and wanted to let you know that there a lot more pilots that were former CAL that echo that sentiment.
It seems like everybody wants to be RIGHT and that is pointless because either way it won't change the list.
Lets all dig a HUGE hole and bury this divisive issue after the DRC cases are heard and ruled on. The only way things will get better is when all the SCABS retire off OUR one list and we go forward as one group.

And maybe more and sooner than anticipated if training delays continue.
8-F-9 If a Pilot's vacancy has not been cancelled or activated by the end of ninety-two (92) days (including the effective date specified in the bulletin advertising the vacancy) or three (3) Bid Periods after the vacancy bulletin effective date, whichever is earlier, the Pilot may at his option exercise displacement rights, bid any vacancy, or continue to be pay rate protected in accordance with Section 8.
If I read this right, if someone is in training to fill an FO vacancy, and if he gets delayed long enough, then he can bump to any position his seniority will hold, including captain, even though there was not captain vacancy, thus creating a second training event for whoever gets bumped, etc. Outta control.

I have a friend who is a DCA 320 F/O and took an EWR 737 F/O bid for quality of life and he is in that exact position. He has never been trained and will now be a EWR 737 captain instead :-) Total management incompetence.
