So how do you bid monthly vacation? I see no option for it in CCS.

Look under the Bidding tab, drop down to the 4th entry VACATION BID: monthly,.

Not that I ever needed to use it or wanted to since I was always able to bid all my vacation. And not that you will see any available periods to bid these days anyway.

Not necessarily junior, and not necessarily better. But whatever,,, that's just whining since nothing was taken away from anyone. However now, vacation itself can be an impediment to exercise of seniority because a pilot may have to forgo bidding up so as to keep his vacation that his wife/hubby had planned for a year. There are other real assaults on seniority- Preferential bidding maybe number one! "Overall solution constraints" @Shrek - that is right out of the Hillary Clinton Benghazi play book " what does it matter now"?

Kinda like but but the SFO MOU said......doesn't matter because the most recent document (SLI) controls - you'll see pretty soon.

To equate what happened at Benghazi and what we are talking about here is irresponsible at the very least. But I had to smile at the fact this was the first time anybody equated anything that I thought or said to Hillary Clinton.......thanks for the chuckle.

BMEP,

Negative on the bidding tab. On my bidding tab the fourth and last entry is displacement bid. There is no monthly tab on my CCS Bidding tab. Could this possibly be yet another IT error?

I think the LUAL CCS site is different from the LCAL. Guess it evens out. You cannot bid for non-existent monthly vacation. I cannot bid for non existent crew meals.

Don't have to - Usource is your friend - over 100 paid claims so far.

If I remember correctly, our last LEC meeting addressed the monthly bidding issue. They said, and chuckled at the same time, for the LUAL side, IT didn't have the program in place yet, and won't be ready till the fall.

But it doesn't really matter anyway, because UAL stated that they will not be awarding any monthly vacation in the summer. Still leaves a couple of month gap. Can you say contract violation?

Can you say contract violation?
Can you say SOP?
