Offended by airplane nicknames?
"Guppy" got your panties in a twist?

Well I better not hear you calling the 777 a "triple seven".

It is a "seven seventy seven".

I think is was Fortran eese for training center and a few of us referred to it as the "Training Kingdon" or just plain old School House but most refer to the training center as "Tee Kay" (TK)

Some new-hire pubs had DENTK standing for "Denver Center for Training & Knowledge," though that may be revisionist history.

You'll see and hear a lot of the revisionist history. Especially considering many at all levels of management don't know the history of either airline.
