I was wondering when the 319's from southern china rumor would show up. I heard it from a "reliable" source.

To think United was looking at a narrow body order C2009 as a Guppy replacement. Day late and dollar short.

Ain't that the truth! I was talking to 2 Standards Captains in the DEN airport last month. They had been to a "big meeting". Both were adamant that....

1. we were keeping more 757s than planned
2. ABSOLUTELY no displacements!

Obviously they were spot on!

I have heard the "keeping 757s" item as well. Although it might have just filtered down from that same source...
