Here's what the SSC has to say about it in their September update:

"It is becoming clear the company is more concerned about following the direction of and modifying their manpower planning based on input from outside consultants who have no background and prior knowledge of pilot staffing, especially at UAL, as the SSC does."

They got the math wrong too, the announcement said 150/150, but the bulletin is for 75/75 for a total of only 150 soon to be unfilled bids.

So to recap, that's a vacancy announcement of 75 737 FOs and 75 320 FOs
