You would be more senior on the 320 faster than 756 since that fleet is small in EWR and expanding. Example: I'm a July hire and would be in the mid-60's % on the Bus, but am only 99% on 756. If you don't care much about reserve vs. line, 756 flying is more fun in my opinion: a mix of Europe, US trans-con, and a bit of Hawaii. If you want to sit at home and not do sh*t, bid 756 and BAT to 76T since there are only 4-ish flights a day. Trouble with that one is every so often you have to cover JFK at 0500 for a p.s. flight.
I'm on the T and am BATting to 756 so I've been watching the flying closely. I commute so I want to work, FWIW.

Bid the 737. It is the only growing fleet.

You will have a much better chance to change domiciles (if you don't want EWR).

If you really want to be in IAH, then maybe the airbus is better. They are WAY overstaffed on the 737 in IAH, and the Airbus has openings.

If you want to be based in DEN or CLE….just don't kid yourself. It's probably not going to happen.

I agree with this. I think the movement on the Airbus right now is a bit false, because lots of Airbus FOs are moving to the guppy because of improvement in seniority, plus many of them are getting Captain bids or going to widebody FO, so there is movement for now.

But the best bet going forward is the guppy (737) fleet which is the growing fleet.

Is that the second class in a row with no 737s? I'm surprised...

I'm guessing that's 100% based on the training availability and nothing to do with where people are needed.
