Cheery Creek has Shotgun Willies, Target, a crappy burger place, and a Friday's thats within safe walking distance at night… thats about it.

Hey if IHOP and McD's are your thing then ask to stay around TK instead of Cherry Creek.

The Cherry Creek Mall which is a few blocks away and has a ton of restaurants, far more than the crap around TK. Its a very nice area. Also if you want to go for a run or long walk you can do so safely.

There is no comparison between the two areas.

Why would they put you up there when there are 4 (5?) perfectly adequate hotels just across Quebec from DENTK?

And in 2007-2008 a guy got beat up around that area as well.

Was walking from the TK to the DoubleTree or whatever other hotel on the west side of Qubec.

With MLK running right by there, it adds validity to the Chris Rock joke.

I'd MUCH rather stay at the HI on CO Blvd ANYDAY than by Stapleton. Plus there's easier (staggering distance) to some of the local "arts".

In the summer on Wednesdays, head up the road to the Elway's cougar fest.

I gave McD and iHop as examples for early morning food 24/7… but won't argue what is good/bad on restaurants… and you don't get to choose where you stay at UAL… BI gets you Doubletree at TK and you either get CC or Sheraton for sim training… don't think thats going to change anytime soon. By the way there is a terrific park that is about 1/4-1/3 mile East from TK (opposite of the bad area) that has a huge park with running and bike trails… its called Central Park and Bluff Lake area… its way nicer for outdoor exercising then Cherry Creek area. Each his own.

There's nothing to do around DENTK, unles you are really into GNC or Subway.

Cherry Creek has amenities within walking distance. Movie theaters, a big mall, restaurants, Shotgun Willies, Target, etc. If you're only spending 4 hours a day at TK and 20 at the hotel, there might as well be stuff to do.

Shotgun Willies and Target.

What an appropriate combination.
