Your're right. Hey, what is the status of that Norwegian Air International application filed in 2013?

Umm hmmm.....
Hmm, the most LABOR FRIENDLY (and Transparent) Administration in memory; sure doesn't sound like it.

[QUOTE=oldmako;2024666]
"The Washington metropolitan area is the most educated and, by some measures, the most affluent metropolitan area in the United States [2] As of the 2014 U.S. Census Bureau estimate, the population of the Washington metropolitan area was estimated to be 6,033,737, making it the largest metropolitan area in the Census' Southeast region and the seventh-largest metropolitan area in the country.

And...

"Dulles has significant capacity for future growth. With minor expansion, the current facilities could accommodate 45 million annual passengers (22.5 million enplanements). With all future facilities in the master plan constructed, the airport could accommodate 70 million annual passengers (35 million enplanements) operating out of 250 airline gates. The current four-runway configuration has a capacity of up to 600,000 aircraft operations per year. With a future fifth runway constructed, the airfield capacity could increase to 1 million aircraft operations per year."

Dont worry we still have Cleveland...

I can't believe DC isn't up in arms over government employees flying on Emirates. Or ALPA.

Code share on Emirates via Jet Blue?? Seriously? American military riding on a foreign airline out of our capital?

Subsidized and now giving them our US government business? Wow.

I expect to hear more soon. Plus, government employees fly coach. DC to DXB is a 777. Emirates 777's are 10 across in coach. 16.7 inches wide.

The government employees won't be amused.

They don't care if we aren't amused.

The people who have the power to change policy don't ride coach.

Fat ass needs business class due to obesity? Reasonable accommodation for their "disability" 6'5" guy needs exit row due to long legs? Nope.
