E190's coming?
I was told E190 parking lines are painted at the new 71 gates in SFO, I couldn't imagine them painting those on brand new gates if they didn't intend to purchase some? I remember Delta had new 717 lines painted in LAX long before any big announcement was ever made.
Also rumor has that SkyWest will manage the E190's, including SkyWest flight attendants and sim in Denver, but will be flown by mainline pilots. If UAL's ambitions is just that, would that be legally possible considering AFA's contract or current ALPA contract?
Not much for rumors, but I thought these were pretty interesting.
Thanks in advance from a hopeful new hire.

FYI
The idea was presented in the past and the union told them to go pound sand

FWIW, in the past 10 years E190 parking lines have been painted at several domestic airports and each time it caused a stir and nothing happened. In many cases it was done by the local airport authority that was out painting lines at all the gates on the field with multiple plausible types.
This particular rumor is not new and seems to pop up every few months. Not saying it's not true, but it hasn't happened for several years now.

"Does Air Canada ever park there? Could be the simple answer."
Never thought of that, I think you've solved the mystery. Makes sense for them to move them from the international terminal. I don't get wrapped into rumors but this one has been buzzing around for a while now.
Thanks again.
