Default Hey! What about NSNBs?

I still haven't had time to see the video or read the TA in detail; just the summaries I've seen here.

I thought there were three big things anticipated: pay raise, QOL, and a NSNB. QOL (Reserves) fell by the wayside, unless you count increased pay as a QOL issue (some do).

There's a rate for the CS100.....but is there any jet order contingent upon this TA?

Nope. (Watch the video, it's only 4 mins long.)

They decided to de-couple a jet order since it was essentially a joke considering that the company could, and still can, order a new small jet at any time with or without this potential LOA.

No there isnt.. doest mean there wont be an order. - ALPA just didn't want to have it tied to the vote -SJS carrot etc..

My guess is 50 and 50 options for CS100 very cheap due to very cheap TA rates of course and because the Canadians need a deal bad to get it going also 3 year upgrades will make it very cheap labor cost as well.

and 50 737-700 max (new design 700s) with a toss by Boeing for 6 more 777-300 cheap as well for new ULR to get the deal done (Boeing needs to keep production line open till 2018 on the 777)

Pilots don't buy airplanes. Either United has a business case for them or they don't.

I applaud Heppner for striking all NSNB language from this TA.

Same - smart move. Allow the company to run a profitable, correct operation and route structure. Allow us to fly the planes once they order them at a professional pay rate. The company being hamstrung by a TA to buy airplanes at perhaps the wrong time with the wrong amount does not equate to financial success.

Very smart move. That way this TA will get voted upon on based on its own merits.
