I did the math and figured that being on reserve on the 777 and holding a line on the 756 would be about a wash money-wise. But having a line would make my life a lot easier. Especially since I commute.

I bid reserve in November and December to get Thanksgiving and Christmas off, and while it wasn't too bad (and totally worth it since it actually worked), the short call shenanigans are irritating to say the least.

That's why I'm a NO voter.

Looks like I'll ride out the remainder of 76T on reserve as the flying gets choked off and the pool of available pilots dries up, but that's not the end of the world. I'm looking forward to moving over to the 756 so I can fly something other than LHR.

That's primarily why you don't hear much of substance coming out of sled or probe. They're just cutting and pasting from past post on this and other forums. Most have settled in with their vote and letting the majority decision stand. sled will always be known as the "pool boy".
