Max days in a row working
#1
Someone tell me if this is ok, because I think it's bogus. Four day trip that ends on a Saturday. Travel to training on Sunday and start Airbus training Monday for 5 days. 10 days in a row?!?! PBS guy said its "legal"!!

I think FAR 117 requires at least 30 hours of rest to reset you. So if you get back early on Saturday and have 30 off before the DH on Sunday I believe that makes it legal.
PBS once gave me 12 in a row. Flying a red eye getting back to base super early then an evening depart the next day makes it legal. Slap on the pp like that teaches you to stop messin' with them waive commands.

117 isn't a factor in this situation, is it? Training isn't a duty that has look back rest requirements. You may have an issue before you can go fly again after training...but the only time off between your flying trip and your training is a contractual issue.

I'd check with union rep to confirm if this is OK per your CBA.
